Happy River Cafe
Situated next to Footscray Community Arts Centre, Happy River Café offers a deliciously fresh menu Tuesday – Sunday from 8am – 6pm and late on Thursday and Friday nights during daylight savings. Try Jamaican chicken on coconut rice, fresh homemade pasta or a toasted pide. Breakfast is served all day in this very friendly café with a huge grassy lawn on which the young ones can frolic. There is sensuously good coffee and vegetarians will love the tempeh wraps, spanakopita, luscious cakes and biscuits.
Everything is made fresh at Happy River Café and the work of local and emerging artists is regularly exhibited.
