Footscray Community Arts Centre is very excited to be partnering with St Jerome’s Laneway Festival, as their new Melbourne home for the 2010 festival.  On Saturday 30 January 2010, the grounds of Footscray Community Arts Centre and surrounding streets will become a mecca for 7500 discerning music lovers, who will experience a unique and eclectic mix of acts, including legendary post-punk band Echo & the Bunny Men and Melbourne’s own Dirty Three.

Footscray Arts and the Laneways team are working hard on some new initiatives to ensure that this festival contains local content and is reflective of the burgeoning and diverse arts community of Melbourne’s West.
