We acknowledge that we are on traditional lands of the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation. We offer our respect to the Elders of these traditional lands and, through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Rehearsals are now well underway for THE NIS and with just over a week until opening night it won’t be long until the show will be unveiled to the world. Footscray Arts’ Integrated Stretch participants have already been onsite at fortyfivedownstairs working with choreographers, Kate and Geoff and from today the whole crew will bump in to start getting used to the space.
The humans involved in the show have all been rehearsing hard and even the robots have been put through their paces to make sure they’re up to their performing best! For The Amplified Elephants musicians it has certainly been interesting to rehearse with robots, but so far it has all gone smoothly and audiences can expect a fantastic multimedia show.
THE
NIS opens on Wednesday 4 March and runs until Saturday 7. Click here for more details.
THE
NIS is presented by Footscray Community Arts Centre and JOLT Arts and generously supported by the City of Melbourne, Arts Victoria and the Department of Human Services.
