Footscray Community Arts Centre (FCAC) is a leader in producing, facilitating and presenting community arts. Located in the culturally diverse western region of Melbourne, FCAC is renowned for its advancement of multicultural arts in Australia and artistic engagement in the community.
Over its 35-year history, the Centre has been a vibrant hub of artistic activity for local, national and international artists, community groups and leading arts companies. In 2010 FCAC will enter an exciting new stage in its development with the launch of a new multi-arts centre featuring a new performance space. gallery and other multi-arts venues.
The Programming Manager works closely with the Director & CEO and the Programming Team, to develop and implement FCAC’s full program of artistic and community-based strategies and activities. This role includes the management of FCAC’s Programming Team and the recruitment and management of contract artists.
