We acknowledge that we are on traditional lands of the Wurundjeri peoples of the Kulin Nation. We offer our respect to the Elders of these traditional lands and, through them, to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
The Footscray Arts Workshops Program for 2009 begins from 10 February, so time is running out for participants to get involved.
Footscray Arts workshops offer a supportive and creative environment to learn new skills or to polish existing talent in singing, dancing or drawing. With specialised classes for children and adults alike, there are plenty of opportunities for budding artists to spread their creative wings and give art a go.
Foodies will love the Learn from the Experts series of intensive one day workshops all revolving around the theme of A Taste of Footscray. First up on Sunday 15 February, Vietnamese chef Tina takes the workshop Unlocking the Secrets of Traditional Vietnamese Rice Paper and Spring Rolls. Tina’s pho demonstrations last year were a huge success and places for this Learn from the Experts workshop are filling up fast! Check out A Taste of Footscray for more information and to sign up.
