ArtLife participants in Games Closing Ceremony

They’re auditioned, rehearsed… and now for the performance and glory. On Sunday 26 March, six participants from our ArtLife program will be performing in the Closing Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. ArtLife is a Footscray Arts program that provides opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in a variety of artistic experiences, covering artforms such as theatre, visual art, music and writing.

So, on Sunday 26 March, turn on your TV to see the results.  “ArtLife, ArtLife, ArtLife! Oi! Oi! Oi!”.

Carn the ’Arts, Go the Dogs

Take the trip with us to the Western Bulldogs Family Day and Community Festival and sample the freshest hip hop in the West. Step up – as award-winning hip hop dancer ARCH RIVAL runs a hip hop dance workshop for people of all ages and skill levels. Become a proud supporter – as Footscray hip hoppers Jungle City show off their skills in a preview performance from Big Top Hop, our hip hop spectacular for Festival Melbourne 2006 in the Commonwealth Games. Get the word on Footscray Arts – at our info stall. It’s game on for hip hop at the Whitten Oval.
