Acoustic Reggae with Natty Wailer
Want to take a journey through Jamaica’s music scene? Why not learn from one of the greats – Natty Wailer, who performed with reggae icons Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Bring along your instrument(s) and join Natty for this three-hour workshop that will explore the music and culture of the Carribean. Learn about a range of music styles from Calypso to Ska, Reggae and the birth of Dancehall music. Find out about the rise of Rastafarianism and the politics of reggae music. Develop lyrics and melodies and play some acoustic reggae – and finish it off with a free open jam with Natty!
If you have an instrument in the cupboard (or if you’re a closet Bob Marley), join us for this workshop with a legendary songwriter, philosopher, instrumentalist and singer.
This is a workshop for people with intermediate or more advanced music skills. Places are limited so ensure you book early.
