July School Holiday Arts Program
The school year is half over, it’s winter and you’re wondering how you can keep the holiday boredom at bay. Well Footscray Community Arts Centre is here to help, with our hugely popular and exciting intensive School Holiday Arts Program for 6- to 12-year-olds.
From Tuesday 8 – Thursday 10 July, children are given the chance to create everything from original music and visual art works to gorgeous puppets. Under the guidance of leading Melbourne artists, your kids can be part of all the magic and mayhem of three jam-packed days of music making, cartoon, singing, visual art, ceramics and circus classes. This July our tutors include puppeteer Justine Warner; singer, writer and composer Amanda Armstrong; ceramicist Royce Warden; circus performer Staja Hobsbawn; visual artist Darien Pullen; and award-winning animator Nick Kallincos.
If the kids are inspired by this holiday program, they can continue the fun with the ongoing Workshops Program at Footscray Community Arts Centre.
Please hurry to book as numbers for our School Holiday Arts Program are strictly limited. We are also offering a $20 discount per child in a family with 2 kids or more if you book and pay before Tuesday 17 June.
