April School Holiday Program
Following the success of our Summer School Holiday Program, Footscray Community Arts Centre is again offering 6- to 12-year-olds a school holiday experience to remember. But you’d better get in quick as bookings close on Tuesday 3 April!
From Tuesday 10 – Thursday 12 April, children can create everything from original music and visual art works to gorgeous puppets. There are also cartoon, animation and hip-hop dance classes to enjoy. Not only will kids have a great time, but they’ll be learning a huge range of skills with the help of some of Melbourne’s top artists including puppeteer Justine Warner, VJ Lindsay Cox, DJ Wasabi, Bboy Lamaroc and visual artist Florence “Flossie” Peitsch.
And the fun doesn’t stop once the April School Holiday Program is over. On Saturday 14 April, Footscray Community Arts Centre will host a FREE hip-hop event for the whole family featuring Combat Wombat and Low Def. And if the holiday program classes have inspired the young ones, why not enrol them in one of our ongoing workshops?
